SGMHA is proud to host a more competitive stream of U11 hockey called U11AA Hockey Alberta Information
The U11AA team consists of players who are successful in being placed on the team after team tryouts. Tryouts are ran at the beginning of September over one weekend. Registration for the tryout will open May 21, 2024 and the cost is $175.
The U11AA team is a drawzone team (not just SGMHA players) and participants whose home association doesn't provide a team are welcome to come tryout. U11AA tryouts stop at one; in other words, if you are not successful in being placed on the team, you cannot go tryout for another U11AA team elsewhere.
The fees for the U11AA team are higher than the tiered program. And the commitment level is greater. SGMHA strives to proved this team another practice/week (2 practices) ice dependent.
