SPRUCE GROVE MINOR HOCKEY ASSOCIATION

Dear SGMHA Membership, Managers & Coaches.

As many of you are aware, we have launched a new Corporate Sponsorship Program for our association this season.  So far we have had some success in securing a few sponsors but have a long ways to go to build this program to where we need it.

This program is designed to help SGMHA raise funds to improve our association in areas such as player / coach development that will naturally grow over time.  This is totally separate from any individual team fundraising efforts that each team will budget for each season.  Going forward we must optimize our control over the differences between Corporate Sponsors & Team Fundraising. This being said, nothing has really been changed as far as the fundraising guidelines but what we do have to do is ensure that all sponsors looking at advertising on our players (Jersey’s, Helmets, Gloves, Pant Shells, etc) go through the proper channels at SGMHA.  For all these inquiries please contact our 2nd VP at 2ndvp@sgmha.ca to find out more or with questions.

SPONSORSHIP GUIDELINES

  • Corporate Membership Agreements to be formed for all sponsorships
  • All funds associated with sponsorship will be controlled by SGMHA with the exception of Silver Sponsor # 2 - these funds will used towards apparel items with guidelines provided by each individual sponsor - inquire with the 2nd VP for any questions
  • All on-ice sponsorship must go through SGMHA Board - this includes head to toe equipment including but not limited to: Jersey’s, socks, pant shells, gloves, helmet stickers, etc.  Please click here for overview of corporate sponsorship "Game Worn" on-ice items that MUST go through SGMHA for approval.

To find out more about our sponsorship opportunities, please check out the "Become a Sponsor' tab on SGMHA's website.

Respectfully yours,

SGMHA Board
