SGMHA is proud to host a more competitive stream of U11 hockey called U11HADP. (Hockey Alberta Pilot Program)
The U11HADP team consists of players who are successful in being placed on the team after team tryouts. Tryouts are ran at the beginning of September over one weekend. Registration for the tryout will open May 21, 2024.
The U11HADP team is a drawzone team (not just SGMHA players) and participants whose home association doesn't provide a team are welcome to come tryout. U11HADP tryouts stop at one; in other words, if you are not successful in being placed on the team, you cannot go tryout for another U11HADP team elsewhere.
The fees for the U11HADP team are higher than the tiered program. And the commitment level is greater. SGMHA strives to proved this team another practice/week (2 practices) ice dependent.
