The SGMHA Community Stream is the main program within Spruce Grove Minor Hockey. These divisions range with 4-18 years of age, combining to form over 50 teams that compete in the Edmonton Federation Hockey League in the U9, U11, U13, U15 & U18 divisions. All tiered teams compete against teams from other hockey associations in Edmonton and it's surrounding areas. All teams are tiered based on the Alberta One Standardized Tiering Model, ensuring that teams are matched against other teams of similar skill set

4 Year Old /U7 Programs - these divisions have a set schedule set for the year. The 4 Year old is a maximun of 30 participants and have one practice per week. The 4 year old program is run by an outside vendor. ALL HELPING PARENTS MUST HAVE RESPECT IN SPORT - ACTIVITY LEADER as well as the mandatory Respect in Sport Parent Course.
The U7 program has two practices per week (one on Saturday and one on Sunday). These teams rotate player development slots on the weekends from an outside vendor.
U9 Program - tiered program playing in the EFHL and under the Hockey Alberta U9 guidelines. The U9 program goes through the outside evaluation process.
U11 - U18 Tiered Program - these divisions follow the outside evaluation process as well and play games under the EFHL.
U11HADP - SGMHA is proud to host a U11HADP program and will be hosting tryouts around the first weekend in September. Please watch the website for more information. and dates.
RESIDENTS WHO ARE NOT FROM SGMHA INTERESTED IN THE U11HADP PROGRAM, PLEASE REGISTER WITH YOUR HOME ASSOCIATION FIRST. OUR TRYOUT REGISTRATION WILL OPEN MAY 21.
